PlayStation® Portable 3000

October 2009 - The current PlayStation®Portable flagship is the PSP-GO, and it's sister product (above) is the PSP-3000... the biggest difference between them? The PSP-GO is download only, so if you still want to play the 100s of PSP games available on UMD, then the Sony PSP 3000 is the hand-held for you.

What is it? - A stylish piece of kit that you can play games, music and videos on PLUS surf the web wirelessly. You can download multimedia and software updates either straight to your PSP, or download to a PC and then to your hand-held via USB. You can also play in Wireless Ad Hoc mode with other PSPs in the same room. A built-in mike enhances Multiplayer gaming and supports Skype.

Pros and Cons? - The brighter LCD widescreen is superb, but this does come at the expense of battery life - so get used to charging after each lengthy session (...and there's lots of those). :)
