ARMAGEDDON PULP CULTURE EXPO 2009
On Labour Day weekend, 24-26 October, the southern hemisphere geekerati will convene at the ASB Showgrounds, Greenlane in Auckland.
There will be the staple diet of celebrity guests, pillow fights, pizza eating contests and wrestling, cos-play and more!!

Armageddon is back and bigger than ever with more events, contests and gaming than ever before...
The October expo brings some of the biggest names in Hollywood to NZ, and gives fans the chance to meet and greet famous move stars and voice actors.
The 2009 line up includes Seth Green (Family Guy), Noah Grey-Gabey (Heroes), Michael Winslow (Police Academy). Amanda Tapping, Jason Momoa,and Paul McGillion (Stargate: Atlantis), and Twilight actor Michael Welch.

Anime, Manga and Cartoon fans will love the chance to meet Phil LaMarr, the voice actor on shows including Futurama, Samurai Jack, Justice League, Star Wars and more. Olivia Hack will be at Armageddon, her voice acting work includes Avatar and Bratz.
There’s also a Madman DVD Sale, huge Animation and Asian Cinema screening rooms, and loads of cosplay and animation contests to enter! Don’t miss the Gameplayer Console LAN Tournament and the huge Playstation gaming area.
Savage will be performing throughout the three days as well other rockin’ kiwi bands. Wrestlers from Impact Pro Wrestling are showcasing their latest wrestling moves and the fierce roller derby girls from the Pirate City Rollers will be demonstrating their feisty, all female sport.
